The deal will see Altech offering a variety of entry-level Geforce gaming cards designed to penetrate into the growing cash-conscious consumer market.
Kevin Kwan, marketing director at Galaxy Microsystems, said the cards represent a unique combination of value and performance.
“We’ve engineered a low-cost masterpiece of graphics processing technology,” he claimed. “This is the new wave in next-generation capabilities, and now is the time to catch it.”
The deal is the latest in a number of moves by Altech to expand its product portfolio. In recent months the distributor has bolstered its range of motherboards, cooling products and storage devices.
The products will be available through 5000 of Altech’s resellers in both Australia and New Zealand.
