Traffic management outfit Allot Communications launched its Empowered partner network channel program in Australia and New Zealand and has signalled its intention to engage more resellers.
Since opening a Melbourne-based regional office and appointing a second distributor Channelworx in June, the company claimed it had experienced sales growth of over 50 percent within the corporate and service provider markets. It had signed customers such as Elders and Cooloola Sunshine Institute of TAFE.
The company markets a range of products including NetEnforcer, a family of bandwidth management hardware appliances for quality of service and realtime traffic monitoring on carrier, service provider and enterprise networks.
It also sells NetReality, a product that provides application performance monitoring on enterprise IP or non-IP networks.
The new program has Silver and Platinum partner levels. Allot declined to reveal the sales revenue thresholds or required sales and technical staff numbers for either level.
Free technical and sales training would be offered to resellers that join the program. Heavy partner discounts would also be available on Allot demonstration equipment and partners would receive a rebate if they sell five units within the first six months.
"Channelworx is up and running - this is the time to increase the number of resellers working [with] the distributors," said Jonathon Gordon, regional sales manager, Australia and New Zealand at Allot.
"We work quite closely with the resellers - we go with them to customer [calls] and by joining the program they can get direct access to the CRM system, support system and partner website," he said.
He said the company was looking for one to two additional partners in each capital city and would engage new partners to tackle a range of vertical markets including banking/finance, healthcare and hospitality.
The company also distributes its wares through TechPlus.
