Allan King's new venture Buttonwood Cloud Exchange has now officially exited stealth mode and is open to the public.
CRN reported last month that the company would connect customers to AWS and Azure cloud services, with plans to offer Telstra and Dimension Data before Christmas.
"The Buttonwood Cloud Exchange is a true management broker," said King, best known as the founder of Canberra provider Infront. "It integrates seamlessly with an organisation’s existing technology investments to help secure consumption and simplify management of public and private cloud services."
The company announced that its services are "vendor-agnostic" and facilitates "work portability" across different cloud providers, claiming cost savings of more than 30 percent.
"It includes an intelligent decision engine that helps broker workloads based on desired service level objectives and cost," stated the company.
King said last month that Buttonwood would be a "channel-centric" business and was looking to commence a reseller program early in 2016.
