The representative body for ICT companies, the Australian Information Industry Association (AIIA), has opened a Canberra branch.
The ACT Branch will represent the interests of AIIA members operating in the ACT market by working with the AIIA Secretariat and external stakeholders, including ACT Government.
An ACT branch would also help to make government business, ICT skills and local industry development more accessible to ICT companies, said AIIA CEO Rob Durie said.
The AIIA now has branches in all mainland states and territories.
