Australian technology services provider Adactin has launched AFIVE, an AI-powered knowledge platform designed to help organisations access, manage, and leverage information
The platform leverages a Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architecture with LangChain to unify information scattered across various data repositories such as SharePoint, Google Drive, Azure Blob Storage and Dropbox into a single, secure conversational interface.
AFIVE possesses embedded security-by-design, incorporating network isolation, encrypted credential management, and role-based access via Microsoft Entra ID, as well as the ability to integrate with Power BI and Power Automate to trigger workflows and generate actionable data-driven insights.
The company developed AFIVE using Microsoft Azure services, including the scalable Azure OpenAI Service and Azure AI Foundry architecture.
“By automating repetitive retrieval tasks and enabling real-time summarisation, AFIVE redirects employee effort from administrative searching to higher-value strategic work”, says Srinivas Gutta, technical practice director at Adactin.
“In addition, by centralising organisational knowledge and enabling intelligent search, the platform reduces cognitive load, enhances collaboration, and increases confidence in decision-making across the enterprise.
“By transforming fragmented enterprise knowledge into an accessible system, the platform enables faster decision-making, stronger collaboration, and more efficient use of organisational resources. At the same time, by automating repetitive knowledge retrieval tasks, the platform supports employees in their work rather than replacing them, enabling teams to focus on higher-value strategic activities."
