Acronis has appointed Lincoln Goldsmith as general manager for the ANZ region.
The news comes after Acronis announced its global plans to bring its data protection and supporting cloud services to SMB and enterprise customers.
"This is a very exciting time to be at the helm of the local operation,” said Goldsmith. “We now offer very high-level new generation data protection technology providing file sync, share and access products as well as on-premise and to the cloud backup and recovery solutions – covering consumer to SMB and enterprise."
Goldsmith joined Acronis in April as sales director, mobility for ANZ and Japan. Prior to Acronis, he held the role of director of channels APAC at CommVault. He has also held various management roles at NetstarLogicalis, NetApp, XSI Data Solutions and Surf Hardware Solutions.
The new MD will be responsible for strengthening Acronis’s distribution channel to support its latest expansion strategy.
Acronis will be revealing its new Acronis Access solutions including data access, sync and share editions for SMB and enterprise customers next week.
Acronis is an international provider of data protection, disaster recovery and secure access solutions. It lists Data#3, Insight, Chill IT and Computers Now among its Australian partners.
