The Apple Lisa was a business personal computer released in 1981. It ran its own GUI operating system and had a 5 MHz Motorola 68000 microprocessor, 2MB RAM, expansion slots and a numeric keypad. A commercial failure, it struggled to compete with IBM's cheaper PCs and was soon retired from Apple's product range.
Originally retailing for $9995, the Lisa is as expensive as ever, with pristine models selling for as much as $25,000.
