What networking solutions do you delpoy?

The main networking solutions we deploy include routing, switching, perimeter security, wireless solutions, network security and risk assessments encompassing intrusion detection and prevention. Our main vendors are Cisco, Riverbed, Check Point, Palo Alto and Juniper. 

When did your company first get involved in networking?

Since the company’s formation in 1997.

What networking certifications and/or credentials does your company have? 

We have a number of technical and sales certifications with many of our key vendors including, but not limited to, Cisco Premier Partner level, Riverbed Gold Partner, Palo Alto Gold Partner, Brocade Premier Partner, and Juniper Select Partner.

Who are your main distributors for networking technologies? 

Dicker Data, Ingram Micro, Westcon and Synnex.

What cool or interesting recent networking technology is occupying your thoughts?

Software-defined networking (SDN) is a new network architecture tool that, to put it simply, separates the network’s control and forwarding planes to make it easier to manage network devices. It is great for administrative management because it provides centralised control. Examples of SDN would be Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI) and VMware NSX.

Can you tell us about a recent networking deployment you have done? 

We undertook a large wireless deployment for a law firm.

What is driving customers’ networking projects? 

Some of the main business drivers are mobility (wireless and remote access), cloud and BYOD.
