As one of Symantec’s highest-accredited partners in APJ, Insentra has experience in deploying the majority of Symantec’s security solutions including Endpoint Protection Suite, Control Compliance Suite, Datacentre Security, Data Loss Prevention, Mobile Device Management and Encryption.
What are your infosec credentials?
We have been involved in security since we started operating four years ago with some of our consultants having over 10 years of experience with Symantec and other vendor technology suites. We work with the entire Symantec reseller community.
When did your company first get involved in security?
We hold Symantec Specialisation and Master Specialisations in their security streams.
What's an infosec trend you've been hearing about?
The security space is evolving at a rate of knots. New threats are coming out all the time and vendors are scrambling to stay ahead of the curve. What is cool today is immediately passé tomorrow.
Can you tell us about a recent project?
90,000-seat global roll out of Symantec Endpoint Protection for a large semi-government organisation.
What is driving customers towards security projects?
We see customers becoming more and more focused on securing the endpoint from a BYOD perspective and the move to the cloud (private or public) are forcing organisations to rethink their security posture and re-evaluate new ways to protect both data and devices.

It is governance, compliance, risk management and protection of an organisation’s core data, intellectual property and assets with a view to providing peace of mind to their customers, shareholders and employees that their information is protected and secure.
