Hewlett Packard Enterprise loses Aussie channel chief
Kaaren Lewis

Hewlett Packard Enterprise's channel chief, Kaaren Lewis, has left the company after less than two years.

An HPE spokesperson confirmed the departure of Lewis, who was director indirect sales channel manager for small business and alliances, though would not expand on the reason her exit.

Nicholas Lambrou, country manager for SMB, will act as interim leader for the South Pacific indirect business in addition to his current role, the spokesperson told CRN.

Lewis told CRN: "After two years leading the HPE channel, alliances and SMB business, I have decided to leave HPE. This was effective 29 January. It has been an absolute privilege and delight to work with the channel community and customers in both Australia and New Zealand and I wish the team continued success into 2016. I am looking forward to a new opportunity and hope to continue working with the channel into the future."

After four years working for Dell, Lewis joined HP in April 2014, replacing Chris Spence, who joined Dicker Data.

Hewlett Packard Enterprise was formed when the enterprise group separated from the PCs and printers division, now called HP Inc. Chris Hewlett runs the HP Inc channel in Australia.
