Cloud management vendor Kaseya has appointed industry veteran Kellie Hackney as its first channel sales director for the Asia-Pacific region.
Hackney said she was attracted by Kaseya's cloud and mobile management products and their rapid take-up in the region.
“Kaseya’s proven track record [of] managing complex IT environments has helped MSP partners and end-user customers migrate mission-critical applications to the cloud and mobile platforms,” she said.
In July, Hackney ended eight years at Citrix, where she had held multiple channel roles: channel territory manager, ANZ channel program manager, ANZ channel organisation senior manager and ultimately senior manager of partner management for the Asia-Pacific.
Prior to Citrix, she worked for Express Data as its IBM business manager. Her most recent commitment was a five-month post at Channel Dynamics as a consultant.
“We are very excited to have Kellie on board with us as Kaseya prepares to consolidate its leading technology position and develop an even deeper engagement with more partners throughout ANZ and Asia,” said Kaseya ANZ managing director Dermot McCann.
Kaseya sells exclusively through the channel in Australia, with the vendor updating its partner program in May. The vendor's local arm scored a big tender victory in June, announcing a partnership with integrator Datacom.
The IT management software company claims more than 20,000 clients in more than 20 countries.
