Data#3 raises $20,000 for domestic violence charity

Data#3 raised $20,000 for Women’s Legal Service Queensland at its charity golf event on 10 October.

More than 140 Data#3 customers and vendor partners attended the fundraiser at Brisbane’s Indooroopilly Golf Course, hosted by Channel Seven’s Pat Welsh.

Data#3 group general manager Laurence Baynham said he was thrilled with the fundraising result. “Our charity golf day is a great event for all involved and our ability to raise $20,000 will help continue to enable the fantastic work Women’s Legal Service Queensland does within the community.”

Women’s Legal Service provides free legal and social services to women and their children who experience domestic violence.

It’s the highest amount Data#3 has raised for its charity event, which has been running annually for 11 years. Data#3 has been involved in supporting a number of charitable causes, including working with World Vision, Radio Lollipop and The Smith Family.
