Sophos firm taps reseller BDM as new channel manager
Andrew McHenry

Sophos-owned vendor Cyberoam has hired former Bridge Point sales business development manager Andrew McHenry as its new channel manager.

McHenry brings a broad sweep of experience across vendor, distributor and reseller businesses.

Most recently, he spent just over a year at Bridge Point, the Brisbane-headquartered security integrator.

Prior to Bridge Point, McHenry's CV includes stints at Stickman Consulting, Verizon, Westcon, Insight and Dell.

Alkesh Soneji, Cyberoam's business head Australia and New Zealand, said: "Mr McHenry has delivered very successful results in building and maintaining relationships with key executives and C-Level management for some of the largest security solutions and suppliers in the world.

"Additionally, he has a strong understanding of the local network security market. By becoming a part of Team Cyberoam, Mr McHenry’s guidance will certainly prove very beneficial for the organisation."

The news comes as Cyberoam's parent, Sophos, revealed its second local distributor, Lan 1, owned by Hills.

Cyberoam has been on a hiring spree lately, appointing ex-Westcon and Avnet man Leon Friend as pre-sales manager in May.
