Samsung will unveil its next-generation Galaxy handset on the 3rd May in London.
Invitations have been sent out to journalists as well as posted on Samsung’s Facebook page, reports the Huffington Post.
The Samsung Galaxy S III is the latest iteration in the popular Galaxy line. The company has confirmed it will use a homemade 1.5Ghz Exynos 4412 A9 chip to power the Android handset, which could mean a 26 per cent increase in speed and a 50 per cent increase in battery life.
The smartphone has also been rumoured to contain a 4.8inch HD screen, 8mp rear and 2mp front-facing camera, as well as 4G LTE compatibility. It has been reported as having a thin 8mm body, weighing in at 125g.
Samsung is yet to provide further details on the Galaxy S III’s specifications.
