Steve Grant, marketing manager at Anyware told CRN, the appointment to the top-tier of the partnering program will give it access to a range of pre and post technical support and services.
Anyware will also be able to provide its resellers with training and certification curriculum, along with an increased level of marketing support.
Access to this premium range of resources will in turn enable Anyware to assist its network of resellers with Kaspersky Lab products, he said.
"Security has consistently been in the news and it really makes sense for us to sell anti-virus products and become a one-stop shop for resellers," said Grant.
"Anyware has distributed Kaspersky AV products for a number of years and it makes sense to be able to provide resellers with added pre/post technical support, training and point of sales material.
"The added support will appeal to resellers with small to medium operations."
The announcement comes off the back of Anyware's distribution agreement with Logitech and Kensington.
"We've also added some extra warehouse space," said Grant.
"Products aren't just sitting in the extra space. We are getting them out as quickly as products come in."
Grant said people are discerning with their buys these days and no longer spend money hand over fist," he said.
"Any distributor can compete on price, but being able to offer a certain level of post-sales support and IT service helps to differentiate us from other distributors."
