Whitegold to distribute Identum

WhiteGold Solutions has been appointed as the sole distributor for Identum’s range of email encryption products in Australia.

Previously, Identum’s product Private Post was only available in Europe, the Untied States and Asia Pacific via an office in Hong Kong.

Karl Feilder, CEO of Identum said its Private Post product was based on an AES 256-bit "crypto system".

WhiteGold Solutions will distribute Private Post for Business, an integrated suite that includes; Private Post for Outlook; Private Post for Outlook Express; Private Post Reader for Windows XP and; Private Post Network Deployment Wizard.

Multiple license packs will be available for organisations with five to 250 users and can be used together.

The former CEO of SurfControl, Steve Purdham, has also been appointed chairman of Identum.

He replaces Alan Lamb, who remained on Identum’s board as non-executive director.

Identum will also be present on the WhiteGold stand at the AusCERT Asia Pacific Information Technology Security Conference in May 2006.
