Melbourne-based distributor Westan has showcased its latest product offering, Dialogic’s VoIP gateway appliance.
The product has the ability to connect PBXs to Microsoft’s Exchange 2007 Unified Communications, and OCS server products.
The Gateway features are based on traditional telephony and switches combined with VoIP engineering developed to enable interoperability with various vendors for Dialogic’s range of host media processing, IVR and video messaging building block software technologies.
The Microsoft Certified Dialogic DMG1008 Media gateway is a supported method to connect Microsoft’s UM and OCS products to existing PBXs. It is part of a range of certified gateway products From Dialogic that provides connectivity to existing PBXs via analogue, proprietary digital handset emulation and E1 telephone links.
Dialogic’s VoIP gateway has a recommended retail price of $3,400.
