As of mid-April, Officeworks will sell Kaspersky Internet Security 2009 and Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2009.
Andrew Mamonitis told CRN, it expects Officeworks to generate market penetration and increase brand awareness for Kaspersky's end-point security product range.
"Adding to that, the demographic of their customer base, consumers and SMEs, is a perfect fit for our products," he said.
The vendor works with a number of other retailers in Australia including, Harris Technology and Officeworks.
"We are currently in negotiations with several other major retailers and expect to announce more partnerships later this year," he said.
Mamonitis said the deal will grow the market for all of its retail partners.
The agreement follows the security vendor's opening of its Australian office in Melbourne in October last year.
The vendor is the fourth-ranked global anti-virus vendor by market share, is ranked number two in the US consumer market, and is the leader in a number of European markets.
