Trend Micro has appointed LAN Systems as distributor of the company’s range of internet content security products targeted at enterprises.
The appointment was part of Trend Micro’s plans to expand its channel throughout A/NZ, particularly in the enterprise space.
Damian Thompson enterprise director, Trend Micro A/NZ said as an authorised Cisco distributor within the enterprise space, LAN Systems would be able to help promote Cisco Incident Control System (ICS), supported by TrendLabs to the enterprise.
Trend Micro has also made changes to its channel expansion program. It has added a fourth level of certification to its current triple-tiered partner plan.
The Professional Partner certification level recognises resellers with regional experience within the enterprise space without the national reach required of the Trend Micro national reseller organisation partner level.
Trend Micro partner program changes and amendments were introduced in May.
