Distributor Todaytech has extended its storage capabilities after inking a Australia wide deal with vendor Western Digital (WD).
Todaytech will distribute storage vendor Western Digital’s full line of internal hard drives including the WD Caviar and WD Raptor X desktop drives; WD Raptor, WD RE and WD RE2 enterprise drives; and the WD Scorpio 2.5-inch mobile hard drives.
Margaret Koh, director of sales for Asia South at Western Digital, said: “The market in Australia for high quality, highly reliable hard drives is growing at a fast pace across many market segments, including computing, consumer electronics and consumer external storage products.
"WD is addressing all of these areas and our distribution infrastructure must grow respectively. Todaytech operates in all major capital cities, including regional Newcastle, and has a strong PC components infrastructure that fits WD’s customer profile very well,” added Koh
George Skaf, general manager of marketing and sales at Todaytech, said: “The hard drive business is a very critical component in the distribution market and WD is a widely established brand with trustworthy products. They are a welcome addition to our offering to resellers.”
