Telstra has began selling wi-fi tablets out of contract.
The telco has long sold cellular tablets and phones without a plan, but this marks the first time it has sold non-cellular devices without a plan.
The program, which Telstra kicked off on 25 November, includes "all tablets in the range", said a Telstra spokesperson.
Devices include a 16GB Samsung Galaxy S 10.5 for $599, an 8GB HP G2 for $199 or a 4GB HTC Nexus 9 for $479.
