Sydney-based Expedite IT has scored an SAP S/4HANA deployment with the New South Wales Office of Sport.
The $2.8 million contract is for a shared enterprise management suite covering Sydney Olympic Park Authority, Venues NSW and the NSW Institute of Sport, replacing their existing finance, payroll, HR and other systems.
The project started in mid-March, and is scheduled for completion at the end of this year.
An Office of Sport spokesperson told CRN that ExpediteIT was chosen for having the best value for money based on capability, proposed project implementation approach, customer service and account management, and fees and charges.
“The partners and contractors from ExpediteIT also bring significant experience with implementing SAP solutions in the public sector,” the spokesperson said.
The S/4HANA-based solution deployed is specifically delivered as a service by Accenture Australia, which is also being used in other NSW government agencies.
“This solution is currently in use by several government agencies and leverages standard business processes developed by the Department of Finance Services and Innovation, and it aligns to the NSW Government’s Corporate Shared Services Strategy and Digital Strategy,” the spokesperson said.
