SonicWall has unveiled it will overhaul its partner program across Australia and New Zealand to increase the vendor’s coverage in the region.
Chris Barton, regional manager A/NZ at SonicWall, told CRN: “Over the coming months we will be looking to relaunch our partner programme. This will be a revamp of our existing programme to add more value for our partners.”
Barton said SonicWall has been in the Australian market since early 2000 and during that time it has moved from being a new entry vendor to gaining a strong market share.
“Our strategy is to keep aligning with the partners who are the right fit for us. We do not sell anything direct, so it is increasingly important that we are well aligned to the partners we bring on board,” said Barton.
“As we keep broadening our product offering and keep utilising the channel we certainly need to bring more partners on board too."
Barton said SonicWall wants to carefully pick and choose the right partners as it does not want loads of partners as that would not be beneficial to partners or SonicWall.
