SonicWall grows 40 percent in A/NZ

Network security vendor SonicWall has refreshed its partner program to include deal registration for approved, gold and silver certified partners.

The updated program dubbed the "Medallion Partner Program" introduces deal registration as well as a tired structure for partners with access to online marketing tools and systems engineers.

SonicWall claimed the program was also designed to broaden the company's reach from its core small business customers into the enterprise market.

Dean Redman, SonicWALL's country manager for Australia and New Zealand, said the previous program was more about the relationship and the longevity of partner relationships.

"It was pretty much an even playing field but didn't give real financial value, differentiators and support," he said. "We've taken a step back and looked at the community and given them financial security."

Redman said the company grew by just over 40 percent in the second quarter and is "tracking really well for this quarter.

"Globally, Australia is definitely in the spotlight cause we're doing really well and we still have potential it's about capitalising on our strengths," he said.
