ShoreTel posted a 12 percent rise in revenue to $84.3 million for the first quarter, in part thanks to its Aussie and NZ partners.
A high point of the Q1 result was the vendor's cloud activities, with recurring revenue across cloud and support increasing 22 percent year-on-year – and now representing 36 percent of its total Q1 revenues.
ShoreTel toasted its recent appointment of Go Systems as a reseller. The channel partner delivered two plum deals with Cunninghams Real Estate, one of Sydney's largest independent property managers, and Lockley Land Titles, a leading Sydney surveying company.
Distributor Express Data also came in for praise. In August, ShoreTel announced the expansion of its partnership with Express Data into New Zealand, following its "a successful partnership" in Australia.
