Sydney data and analytics consultant Servian has been tapped by Australia Post to enhance its Google Cloud capabilities.
AusPost CIO John Cox yesterday told the Google Cloud Summit that it has trialed multiple technologies on Google's cloud (GCP) in a bid to improve operational efficiency and customer experience, as reported by CRN sibling publication iTnews.
Servian was brought in to help boost AusPost’s GCP capabilities, both on the platform itself and on the infrastructure side, deploying Google's data warehousing tools.
Servian chief executive Tony Nicol told CRN the initial focus was on information management, but eventually pivoted to handle AusPost’s reporting.
Servian specialises in data and analytics, AI, digital, customer engagement and cloud. Aside from Google Cloud, Its vendor partners include Microsoft, AWS, IBM, Cloudera, Tableau, and more.
Nicol hinted that Servian is close to reaching a “sizable” deal to acquire a NZ-based reseller, and is also looking to expand to the United Kingdom in November this year and later in Singapore and Southeast Asia.
