SonicWall has appointed Amit Singh as its new country manager for Australia and New Zealand.
Singh will be based in Melbourne and will report to Scott McCrady, SonicWall’s vice-president for Asia Pacific and Japan.
The network security vendor said Singh would focus on strengthening customer and partner relationships, and accelerating product, software and service innovation.
Singh brings 17 years of experience to the position, according to SonicWall.
He served as SonicWall’s country manager for India from 2012 to 2016.
Before that, he held regional sales manager and brand marketing manager roles at Dell India.
McCrady said that SonicWall conducted an extensive internal and external search before settling on Singh.
“His technology, channel and business experience, along with his ability to build strong, long-lasting customer relationships, will help him continue SonicWall’s success in ANZ,” he said.
SonicWall announced it would be pursuing a 100 percent channel model after separating from Dell in late 2016.
