Schneider Electric has partnered with Motion Solutions to distribute its collaborative robot solutions across Australia and New Zealand, targeting the Pacific region's automation sector.
The agreement positions Motion Solutions Australia and Motion Solutions New Zealand as the exclusive distributor for Schneider Electric's Industrial Automation business, focusing on their latest collaborative robot (cobot) technology.
Motions Solutions have offices in Melbourne, and NSW, as well as in Christchurch, NZ.
This partnership emerges as industries face mounting workforce challenges, particularly in manufacturing and packaging sectors where automation has become increasingly crucial.
"Motion Solutions' industry-leading expertise in robotics, motion control products, and solutions makes it an ideal partner to provide end-to-end services to industrial enterprises and help drive adoption of our robotics offerings to more markets," Carlos Urbano, vice president, Pacific Zone at Schneider Electric, said.
Motion Solutions brings over 35 years of experience in robotics and industrial automation to the partnership.
The company will manage comprehensive services including demand creation, fulfilment, and value-add services for industrial robotics projects across both countries.
