Previously slated for a ‘mid-April’ release date, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1v will now be available from May 4.
Customers who elect to pre-order will receive the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1v on May 1. (Vodafone will be accepting pre-orders from April 20.) As an added bonus, customers will also receive a free Samsung case.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1v is the company's first Android 3.0-based Dual Core smart media device. Highlights include a 10.1in display, an 8-megapixel AF camera, a 1GHz Dual Core application processor and 16GB of inbuilt memory.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1v is available exclusively through Vodafone, for an RRP of $729. Alternatively, it can be bundled as part of a Vodafone plan for a $259 upfront payment, plus $39 per month over 12 months (includes 1.5GB of data per month).
