QLD Department of Transport and Main Roads seeks SOC supplier

The Queensland government's Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) has released an expression of interest (EOI) to provide managed services for the establishment of a co-managed Security Operations Centre (SOC) in collaboration with TMRs Cyber Defence Team.

The selected supplier will also manage TMR’s Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) platforms.

TMR’s SOC/SIEM Project has been established to reduce risk in the immediate term by modernizing SOC/SIEM capabilities.

This includes partnering with a capable, experienced and established SOC supplier to deliver a co-managed SOC with continuous (24 x 7 x 365) security incident monitoring and response, as well as stabilising and maturing operations.

The EOI is issued to support the delivery of these Stage 1 objectives for the SOC/SIEM Project.

The expected term of the contract is one year, with an option to extend another year.

The EOI closes on 23 September 2025 at 04:00 PM.
