Thomas Gudman will join Presence of IT as chief operating officer following nine years with Microsoft.
Gudman has more than 17 years of IT and professional services experience. His most recent role was country manager of Microsoft Business Applications in Australia, which saw him responsible for marketing, partner channel strategy, sales engagement and operations.
He also held roles at AT Kearney and PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Gudman's new role will see him leading all operational aspects of the business including shared services, sales operations, HR, IT, finance and legal, reporting directly to Presence of IT chief executive David Brookes.
"Our business continues to evolve and expand, boosted by growth in the human capital management market which is in turn fuelled by the proliferation of cloud services," said Brookes.
"Thomas' leadership style, his professional experience and personal approach align with our core values. I am confident that under his guidance, our team will continue to excel and deliver innovation to our customers."
