Adam Biviano partner and alliance manager, Trend Micro, said its Smart Protection Network is about taking its technology and pushing it out to the cloud.
"The event was a resounding success with standing room only. It was a good turn out and well received," he said.
"This is exactly what we are talking about investing in the marketplace in these type of events.

Guest speaker was Paul Oliveria market research and intelligence leader APAC Trend Micro.
He and his team work at the TrendLabs headquarters in the Philippines to deliver real-time data to detect, preempt, and eliminate threats, and research and analyse technologies to combat new threats.
Oliveria's keynote entitled 'How Web Threats Will Change the Way You Conduct Business' was the theme of the summit held at the Sheraton on the Park in Sydney on 29th April.
Other topics discussed included: global and regional Web threat security violations and trends, how and why the financial crisis is escalating cybercrime, real-world impact of web threats on businesses and consumers and the growth of cloud computing and the implications for online security.
