OpSys becomes Acronis' first certified MSSP partner in Australia

Acronis has appointed Operational Systems (OpSys) as its first certified MSSP partner in Australia, giving MSPs access to a defence-grade Managed Detection and Response (MDR) service built specifically for the local market.

The move means that MSPs can now deliver MDR services at scale without investing in SOC teams, tooling, or headcount, according to Acronis.

Partners also retain full ownership of branding, pricing, margins, and service delivery, plus 100% of the data is processed and stored in Australia – addressing compliance, Essential Eight, and government procurement requirements.

OpSys supports environments with thousands of seats and integrates directly with Acronis’ AI-driven cybersecurity platform.

“This partnership gives Australian MSPs a reliable, sovereign, and cost-effective way to offer enterprise-grade cyber defence with true active response – not just alerting," said Matthew Fabri, MD of OpSys.

Pasha Ershow, SVP of APJ & Middle East at Acronis, said MDR is becoming a mandatory layer for MSPs.

"OpSys will help us support more than 700 Acronis partners across Australia with MDR services that can be deployed at scale," said Ershow.
