NextDC achieves industry certification

Australian Data-Centre-as-a-Service provider NEXTDC has achieved an ISO: 27001:2005 information management security certification for the operations and maintenance of its Sydney and Melbourne data centres.

The company said the certification demonstrates that NEXTDC has implemented an information security management system that effectively protects sensitive company data.

NEXTDC CEO Carl Scroggie said: "The certification demonstrates our commitment to continuous improvement and standards that meet the contractual requirement of both domestic and international customers who demand the highest global information security standards."

NEXTDC is an Australian DCaaS provider and ASX300 company. The company says it's an independent data centre operator with a strategic footprint found in all major Australian growth markets.
