The wireless rabbit computer peripheral, Nabaztag, has found its distribution burrow in A/NZ through IW Distribution and Gadget King.
Nabaztag is an interactive rabbit that uses non-intrusive, 'calm technology' to perform a variety of tasks for its owners and connects wireless Internet users globally with other people.
The nine inch tall Nabaztag can read text messages and emails, monitor the weather and play MP3 and MIDI files.
In October 2006 CRN reported that the novel device was causing a stir of excitement on social networking sites. At the time the Nabaztag was only available from overseas online-retailer dynamism.com, for $247.
However, IW Distribution and Gadget King have joined forces to launch the new Nabaztag from supplier Violet.
Rafi Haladjian, Violet co-founder said Nabaztag takes on the personality their owners create for them.
“Nabaztag is about play, about joy - and of course, about love. These are the reasons we connect with one another as human beings, and what makes the Internet a marvelous medium," added Haladjian.
