NCS Australia has announced the appointment of Nikita Atkins as its AI Lead.
In his new role, Atkins will be tasked with advancing NCS Australia's AI capabilities, solutions and strategy, as well as driving the company's AI thought leadership and partnerships with academia and industry bodies.
He will also be responsible for supporting NCS Australia's AI strategy with its alliance partners.
Atkins brings more than 25 years of experience across AI, data science, information management, machine learning and enterprise solution architecture.
NCS Australia said his experience includes translating innovation and proof of concepts into operational success, as well as fostering innovation, sales and delivery across the healthcare industry, financial services and the public sector.
“We see AI as an opportunity for organisations to streamline efficiencies for their people, processes and data, ultimately driving greater value for their customers," said Atkins.
"AI has the potential to improve productivity and growth across Australia and the wider region, and we look forward to supporting our customers as they advance communities through technology.”
Atkins played a pivotal role establishing The Tesseract, a more than 400 sq metre Innovation Centre in NCS’ Singapore office that opened in April 2023.
The facility has conducted more than 70 workshops for existing and new NCS customers to identify opportunities in generative AI, metaverse, digital trust and sustainability.
“We are excited to welcome Nikita as NCS Australia strengthens our focus on innovation-led growth," said Marcus Salouk, country head of NCS Australia.
"As a recognised thought leader, Nikita’s extensive contributions to the AI community and his engagement with industry exemplify his strategic acumen and collaborative ethos. We are excited to welcome him as our AI Lead nationally and look forward to generating substantial value for our clients.”
