Sony looks set to be working on a Tegra 3 tablet, if an online benchmark found by Japanese mobile site Amalbo is to be believed.
The successor to Sony's previous Tablet S and Tablet P dual-core offerings goes by the mysterious moniker of the Sony V150. The Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich tablet is listed as having a 1280x752 display with a 1.4Ghz quad-core Tegra 3 processor, which should provide a welcome increase in processing grunt.
Given the stiff competition from existing Tegra 3 tablets like the Asus Transformer Prime and Huawei MediaPad 10 FHD (not to mention the new A5X-powered iPad 3), a quad-core Sony Tablet would make more than a little sense, so stay tuned for more more info as and when we get it.
