Microsoft has launched an online version of its store on eBay Australia, expanding its retail reach beyond its flagship physical store in Sydney and online retail platform at microsoft.com.
The Microsoft Store on eBay is owned and operated by Microsoft Australia, and features Surface and Xbox hardware as well as a full range of PCs, accessories and software.
Microsoft Australia and New Zealand online store manager Fiona Sims said: “With the launch of the Microsoft Store on eBay, we’re making it easy for the millions of Australian eBay users to discover and purchase their favourite Microsoft products with the assurance of the same safe online shopping experience, return policy and free shipping that they have come to expect from microsoft.com.”
The Microsoft store on eBay will offer deals and promotions like those found at the US-based giant's other Australian presences.
Microsoft joins the likes of Lenovo, which also has its own direct sales channel on eBay.
