Keiichi "Kasey" Katsuta has become Sharp Australia's latest managing director, the latest step in a 32-year career.
Katsuta will oversee strategic development, management and overall control of corporate operations.
He formally commences the role on the 16 June. He replaces Masashi Uchiyama, who will take up a senior role with Sharp's Japanese energy solution business division.
Katsuta started with Sharp in Japan and worked across several of Sharp’s overseas subsidiaries, at one point responsible for the overall direction and management of new business development in overseas markets.
To support Katsuta, Joe Costantino was appointed deputy managing director. Joe was previously Sharp's Australian director of sales and marketing.
"I look forward to working with Katsuta and our business partners in taking Sharp forward in the Australian market," said Costantino.
