Judging by the 2 pics Dell has released, the as-yet unnamed mini notebook will be around Eee PC size, possibly around the 9inch mark. Also visible are a USB port (though Gizmodo has
seen the unit and confirms 3 ports), Ethernet (which is absent in the
MacBook Air), and no optical drive.
It will be interesting to see where Dell prices the unit. Ultraportable prices have been creeping upward into regular laptop territory recent months, with the
Eee PC 900 now starting at $599, and up to $649 for the Linux version. H
P's competing Mini-Note starts at $899.
