Lenovo reveals top Australian and New Zealand partners for 2017

Lenovo has named its top partners in Australia and New Zealand at its Business Partner Gala Awards held in Queenstown on Saturday night.

The vendor said that the 11 awards were handed out to partners based on "their ability to deliver innovative services, their professionalism and commitment, and by demonstrating exceptional customer service to improve cost efficiencies through best practice and enhanced productivity."

The top reseller awards were divided into three groups: PCs, data centre and services. Australian Partner of the Year for PCs went to Blue Connections; ANZ Partner of the Year for data centres was given to BEarena; and Datacom South Australia won ANZ Partner of the Year for services.

Dicker Data picked up three distributor awards on the night: Australian Distributor of the Year for data centres and PCs, as well as ANZ Innovative Distributor of the Year.

Other awards went to New Era IT for ANZ Innovative Partner of the Year in data centres, CDM won ANZ Growth Partner of the Year for PCs, and Data#3 account manager Taryn Trass won the 2017 Lenovo Legend Award.

Lenovo ANZ managing director Matt Codrington said: “These awards are a great chance for us a business to look back and celebrate the incredible work and dedication that our partners have shown over the past year. We’re thrilled to be able to recognise our colleagues for their exceptional results and ongoing commitment.”
