Murray Computers' Matt Gravestocks

Leading Edge Computers has named South Australia-based Murray Computers as its 2019 store of the year.

Managing director Matt Gravestocks accepted the award in behalf of the Murray Computers team at Leading Edge’s annual National Tradeshow Conference in Hunter Valley.

Posting on LinkedIn, Gravestocks said, “We are so proud to have been named the national Leading Edge Computer Group – 2019 store of the year!”

“A big thank you to all our customers for your loyalty and support. A massive thank you to all our staff, LEC support office and suppliers for enabling us to provide quality IT products and services throughout SA.”

The store of the year award recognises the member of the Leading Edge Computers group that supports the wider group with a great attitude, supports LEC branding, marketing initiatives and programs; while also evolving, transforming and growing their business while being a member for more than 12 months.

Meanwhile WA-based Esperance Communications won business of the year, for its efforts as a one-stop shop for customers’ communications, security, office technology and electronics.

Distributor Leader Computers took home the supplier of the year award while printing vendor OKI Data was awarded brand of the year.

Synnex business development manager Simon Moore won the only individual award by scooping up the outstanding account manager of the year award.

“A massive congratulations to all recognised,” a Leading Edge spokesperson said.

“[Our] next event will be the annual Strategic Partners Conference, to be held in October 2019.”
