Perth-headquartered managed service provider Kinetic IT has become the first Australian company to receive official recognition as a SIAM Assured (SSA) Service Partner, making it only the second organisation worldwide to earn this accreditation.
Service Integration and Management (SIAM) is an approach to managing multiple technology service providers within complex enterprise environments.
The methodology creates a unified framework where different suppliers work together seamlessly, addressing the challenge of coordinating multiple technology partners whilst maintaining service quality and accountability.
The SSA accreditation caps more than ten years of effort in the SIAM space for Kinetic IT.
Awarded by UK firm Scopism, which specialises in SIAM methodology and accreditation, the recognition is given out to demonstrate organisations' advanced capability and proven results in multi-provider environments.
The accreditation process involves rigorous, evidence-based assessment aligned with the globally adopted SIAM Bodies of Knowledge (BoK).
"This is about shared success," Michael North, chief executive officer of Kinetic IT, said.
"Service integration is not just a back-office function – it's a strategic enabler that unlocks value across the enterprise."
"Passing the assessment requires a deep understanding of service integration principles, a commitment to best practice, and real-world results delivered to multiple clients," Claire Agutter of Scopism said.
"Kinetic IT's SSA accreditation reflects not only their dedication to high-quality outcomes, but also their maturity as a SIAM provider."
Kinetic IT is a founding member of Scopism's SIAM Architect Team, and the company has co-authored every major update of the SIAM BoK, including the upcoming 2025 refresh.
