Kerio and Infotronics launch reseller recruitment drive

The roadshow is targeting resellers who are in the MS and VMware space, who specialise in servicing SME customers (50 to 500 users).

Kerio has plans to open an office in Australia in the next 18 months to further support the channel.

"Kerio and Infotronics have always shared the common goal of offering products that simplify IT for small businesses," said James Gudeli, vice president of Business Development Kerio Technologies.

"With their increasing focus on virtualisation, and our increased support for virtualised deployments of our software, we expect to continue our successful co-operation as the SME channel looks to virtualisation to provide additional value to their customers."

The roadshow will cover off small business solutions for new resellers, and will have a technical update session for existing resellers.

As part of its plan to grow and further support the reseller community in Australia, Kerio Technologies has released its MailServer Virtual Appliance, which has achieved VMware Ready status.

Gudeli said the certification means existing resellers will have even more leverage with their virtualised clients by offering them an alternate MailServer that is VMware ready.

"It will also open up new markets for them in Australia - particularly in the VMWare space," he said.

"We have a long history of delivering messaging software that exceeds industry standards and meets the needs of the SME market, and we believe this will help our channel provide even more value to their customers," he added.

Bernie Mills, senior director, alliances programs VMware said the MailServer leverages VMware virtualisation to allow businesses to access email, calendars, contacts and tasks anytime and anywhere.

"We are pleased that Kerio is delivering added value to customers with innovative technology combined with significant business benefits of VMware virtualisation, including lower capital and operating expenses, business continuity, strengthened security and reduced energy consumption."
