KAZ founder reduces his role

By on

KAZ Group founder Peter Kazacos and current executive director is reducing his working week at the Telstra-owned integrator from five to two days, according to an email circulated by company chairman David Thodey.

Kazacos would continue to be active within the business and remain involved in the strategic direction of the company, on the KAZ board of directors and TelstraClear’s New Zealand IT services company Sytec, Thodey said.

“Peter feels that he has met his personal objective to build an Australian IT services business that could compete on a multi-national level and that now is a good time to reduce his involvement in the day-to-day management of KAZ,” he said in the email to company employees.

Kazacos would pursue other personal interests and hobbies, spend more time with family and continue his interests in the industry through various boards and committees, Thodey said.
