Juniper Networks has named Bruce Bennie as its sales director for Australia.
Bennie will be responsible for the development and management of operations, processes and initiatives for the regional enterprise sales team.
Juniper expects Bennie's 30 years of experience in the industry will help the company strengthen its working relationships with partners and alliances.
Bennie joins from the role of country manager for networking company Infoblox, which recently announced an agreement to be acquired by Vista Equity Partners.
An Infoblox spokesperson told CRN that Bennie's move had nothing to do with the acquisition and that the company's commitment to the region remained unchanged.
According to Juniper, Bennie's appointment was "reflective of his invaluable experience and industry relationships which will be crucial to driving Juniper's Australia and New Zealand business strategy forward".
Ralph Candiloro, Juniper’s regional vice president for Australia and New Zealand, said he looked forward to working with Bennie in driving the company's strategy foward.
"Bruce’s appointment marks a new phase of anticipated growth for the ANZ business as we continue to forge a path towards the brave new world of software offerings alongside our partners and customers," he said.
