The comments, made by Rob Finn, enterprise channel manager A/NZ coincides with the launch of its partner helpdesk.
Finn claims the Juniper Partner Pre-sales Helpdesk provides a new level of support for its partners, distributors and resellers.
He said, unlike Cisco, the company has remained 100 percent loyal to the channel despite its growth in the last 11 years.
Talking about its Junos software, Juniper’s single network operating system, he said [Juniper] has always sold Junos products through the channel.
“At first we had a small product being sold to service providers, today nothing has changed. 11 years down the track with a larger portfolio of clients we haven’t changed our channel method.
“We work with partners who can build service businesses around our product, that is central to us,” said Finn.
The Channel manager said Juniper uses the same infrastructure for all its platforms claiming it gives a Service Provider more consistency in the way they manage and operate their networks.
The helpdesk will give clients answers to questions they have regarding Juniper products or product configuration, said Finn.
