Jabra appoints distributor VExpress

Jabra has appointed VExpress as a telecommunications distribution partner for its contact centre and office products.

Jabra said the decision to partner with VExpress was a "strategic decision" to broaden its national distribution network. 

"VExpress will broaden the number of channels in the market," said Harold Melnick, regional manager of Marketing and Alliances for Jabra A/NZ.

"With VExpress, we're certainly going to be extending our products into unified communications area," he said.

Jabra's current distributors include Westcon and 24/7.

The company said it has had a successful 12 months in Australia and New Zealand, reporting double-digit growth figures for the last financial year.

Jabra's recent global Q1 financial results showed a nine percent jump in global revenue.

Mike Powrie, managing director of Jabra Australia and New Zealand, said distribution partnerships are one of the "keys" to growth and success.

Margaret Brigdale, general manager for VExpress, said Jabra complements its other vendors.

"It fits into our strategy to service the small and medium enterprises, call centre and SIP centric markets."
