ITSEC Australia names new head of sales for ANZ

Information security solutions and cybersecurity consulting company ITSEC Australia has hired Chris Eaton as head of sales for ANZ.

Eaton joins from Kytec, where he was network and security practice lead.

Prior to this, he served as a security service creation BDM - Distribution covering the APJC region for Cisco; a major account manager - service provider for Fortinet; and national practice manager - network and security for Logicalis Australia.

"An opportunity came knocking that was simply too exciting to ignore - the chance to work alongside [MD] Craig Brown and the high-calibre team he's building to help protect Australian businesses from the ever-growing wave of cyber threats," Eaton said on LinkedIn.

"Cybersecurity has never been more critical, and ITSEC is on a mission to make a real impact to ANZ businesses. I’m genuinely excited to be part of it."

ITSEC operates out of headquarters in Singapore, with additional offices in Qatar, Thailand, Indonesia, and Australia, the latter of which it expanded to in 2017.

ITSEC delivers cybersecurity gap assessments and discovery services, aiming to help organisations strengthen their security posture and positioning the company as specialists in NIST CSF, ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR and other key frameworks.
