Insight and Rhipe win Acronis awards

Acronis has awarded Insight and Rhipe as its top partners during its partner summit held in Singapore on 16-18 May.

Insight was named the reseller of the year after delivering over 200 percent year-over-year growth, according to Acronis vice president for APAC and emerging markets Steve Goh.

Insight head of strategic vendors and marketing APAC Angela Maniscalco said: "Insight is focused on solving clients’ immediate hybrid cloud needs and driving new transformative technology driven outcomes. Acronis is a growth partner for Insight as we increasingly deliver critical data protection solutions across all our market segments in APAC."

Rhipe was awarded cloud reseller of the year. The company has recently added Acronis' data protection solutions to its cloud portfolio.

Rhipe chief strategy officer Chris Sharp said: "Data protection and data migration to the cloud are top-of-mind for our customers and partners across the Asia Pacific region."

Acronis achieved 800 percent year-over-year growth globally and more than 200 percent year-over-year in 2015 in APAC.

Acronis has added more than 300 new service provider partners and hopes to add more than 2,000 in 2016. Acronis has also recently expanded its global distribution agreement with Ingram Micro into the APAC region.
